The Animation for Education Toolkit

'The Animation for Education Toolkit' is an interactive CD-Rom designed for schools to teach pupils to create their own stop-motion animations. The CD-Rom contains interactive tutorials and necessary teaching resources resulting in a series of workshop based lessons straight out of the box!

Animation works in the classroom, integrates with many areas of the curriculum and is a great creative use of ICT.

Using over ten years experience of teaching animation in schools and colleges, with students of all ages
and abilities, we have created a fun packed, fully featured CD-Rom consisting of a series
of interactive presentations and a variety of resources for teachers.

Interactive Presentation

The interactive presentation for white boards and computers (PC and Mac) will introduce students and teachers to three main areas of creating their first model animation in the classroom.

With tips that have been tried and tested in education for ten years the class will gain the confidence to produce great results.

The presentation encourages the class to develop traditional hands on learning, storytelling and their communication skills.

Teaching Resources

A variety of resources for teachers are included on the CD-Rom including lesson plans, scheme of work, curriculum links, printable lesson aids, background images and lots of animation examples made by students and teachers on animation workshops.
