Helping your students understand animation.
Mark is a fully qualified teacher who has been running film and animation workshops and courses since 2003. Holding a current enhanced CRB check you can be sure that you are getting a valuable enhanced education expericence. We will bring a set of 6 laptops, all loaded with easy to use animation and film editing software, as well as 6 cameras and sets and models to animate. You can use your own if you have created them already. Have a look at our ani-mats for some ideas of models to create.
The taster workshop is designed to give students an idea about film making in the animation genre, storytelling and characterisation. The idea is based from our experience of working with multiple classes in the same year group. It can be used as part of an arts week or as a precursor to a film or animation project such as our story telling through animation workshop.
If so desired we can also amend the taster session as a keystage special assembly or film club introduction on film making or animation.
